    64 FAN

My E64 fan ( round rivets ) appears to be a dullish semi-gloss black , not "Gloss Black" as stated in the JG. It looks original having the typical runs from being dip-painted, but is nowhere close to the gloss that is on the shroud. Maybe it just lost it's glow over the years since its a moving part. So , should this be shinny black with something like Quanta High Gloss Black or Krylon 1601. Checked the archives, and with all the discussions on shades of black, couldn't find this one. Thanks in advance, Jim

    Re: 64 FAN

The original gloss disappears FAST with use and wind abrasion. I've repainted my fan several times and kiss the sheen bye bye within a few months of light driving. The last time around, I used an epoxy paint and it lasted a 'bit' longer...
