C2 Antenna Ground Strap - finish?

Have a repro groundiing kit that's close but not original configuration at least the short copper straps aren't.

About to install the long copper strap from antenna to frame. The repro is bright copper, however all remaining antenna parts have a silver coating (zinc?).

Is the strap to be coated silver (zinc it)? Will the judges be looking at it?

Alan,

The strap is bare copper. It will eventually tarnish and lose the glossy finish, and turn a deeper color, almost to black, over years.
