I was just speaking with Coker about a spare tire for judging for my '63. They state that the current DOT 6.70/15 bias tire will not fit in the carrier and recommend a 6.40/15 which only come in a wide white wall or blackwall. What have others done for judging purposes? Thanks

Some deflate the current repro a bit to SQUEEZE it in. Others find original non-DOT tires from the era for their spare (spare doesn't have match the road mounted tires to be judged sucessfully) by either purchasing a correct mfgr/size/model that's used or 'borrowing' one from a fellow NCRS member for the judging. On the second alternative, please note once a car is presented for judging and placed on the judging field, you many NOT change parts... -
