C2 - Correct Oil Filler Cap; Later '67 BB

I had my later '67 BB Roadster (first week of May '67 build date) Judged this past weekend, and had 3 points taken off for my oil filler cap, because the "S" had round top and bottom vs. flat like the top of a "5". I am pretty certain my cap is the correct original, but wanted to find out what other later '67's are showing for their filler caps.

The "S" is pretty symetrical so I'd say your "S" is correct based on your description. Also on the cap is the STANT LOGO, a SM incorporated into a circle.

On the bottom side the tangs of the cap should be flat across... not curved like a "smiley face"
