Re: 67 Rear License Plate Bezel Polish ideas?
The mid-year original frame is stainless steel. It can be polished like any ss, buffing wheel and rouge. They sell new ones in most catalogs. Is a stamped metal frame, not cast. has two wings on each side underneath to hold frame to plate.- Top

Are you talking about the bezel or the frame? If I'm not mistaken, the bezel is made of polished aluminum, with some type of coating (anodized, I think), so its not supposed to be real shiny. If you're talking about the plate frame, that's another story.

Brandon, I'm talking about the bezel. I'll take it over to Ecklers and compare mine with a new one. Mine isn't really that bad just thought I could get some more shine from it since it's off the car. Thanks for the info. No need for me to ruin the finish. Best Regards GRR#33570.- Top
