63 Fuel Pump problem?

I just replaced every hose and line from the fuel tank to the carb including the fuel pump. Gas is flowing from tank to pump but nothing flows beyond the fuel pump. I can suction gas to the carb so I know the line is clear. Could I have screwed up the fuel pump install to cause this problem?

yes, if the pushrod missed the actuating arm.
