You can try Corvette Instrument Services (www.corvetteinstruments.com) or Clockworks (www.clockworks.com). Both companies have received favorable comments in the past.- Top

Re: 1957 clock stem
I tried, apparently this aprt is impossible to get unless soemone has a aprt in their garage somewhere. all the normal dealers have no parts available. gauge/ clock parts for 1953 -1957 seem to be extremely differcult to get.- Top

Re: 1957 clock stem
Joe, I just had the same problem with the clock in my '54. As you have found out the stem does not seem to be available and the usual suspects will replace the mechanism. But like yours, my clock works fine so I didn't want to replace the original works. But I found a solution.
In the below picture you can see I found an adapter to lengthen the broken stem so I could reattach the knob. I found the adapter on an old computer! It was used hold the plug that the printer cable attaches, to the case. I had to shorten and re-tap the stem and drill-out/re-tap the knob (Tap and Die #4-40 NC from Ace Hardware). Then I had to file down the female portion of the adapter to reduce its diameter.
