    Rear end cover

    I know the thread is not for selling parts but I have a rear end cover that I would like to know what it goes to. The cover is in a GM box - the number on the box is 00464909. On the rear of the cover is stamped in this order...... M1 464910 M 09F95

    There is a red tag - limited slip diff in white letters...... Anyone know what this fits...... Value????? Anyone need one..??? I do not have a need for this cover..My car is a solid axle veh.. Thanks

      GM #464909 is the original part number for the carrier cover for 78-79 Corvettes and the "SERVICE replacement" cover for all 1963-79 Corvettes. This cover uses 7/16" spring bolts in contrast to the 9/16" bolts originally used on 1963-77 Corvettes.

      This cover is still available from GM for a list price of $134.00. So, currently, that should set the upper limit of its value.
