    66 Coupe Brake Lights

I have a 66 coupe that I am restoring. My brake lights did work a few days ago now they don't work. The Orange lead at the brake light switch has 12 volts and the white has no ground or voltage. I jumper the orange and white at the brake light switch and still have no brake lights. Turn signals work fine, running lights a fine, emergency flashers are fine. Does this mean the next step will be steering wheel removal and replacement of turn signal switch. I have a telescopic steering wheel if that matters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rodney

    Re: 66 Coupe Brake Lights

Could be in the turn signal switch. I would try to test the brake light with the turn signal in the turn positions to see if that had any effect.

      Re: 66 Coupe "Hazard Lights"

Rodney: Where is the emergency flasher switch on a '66? Same as '67 location?

Was that an option coded V74?

      Thanks
