    I do not have a judging manual for the straight axle cars but I think I heard that some had 6.70/15 (4 ply) us royals. I have 2 that are 4 ply and 2 that are (6 ply). Can someone help with the what the (6 plys are for) thanks

      What model straight axle ya got? 1962 used a US Royal Safety 800. 1961 used a US Royal Safety 8. So did 1960 & 59. Production tire 4 ply or 4 ply rated. 6 ply for greater load carrying capacity like pick up truck, heavy car, taxi, police, etc. 6 ply ain't right for a Corvette
