If I understand correctly, David Cosner is no longer in the wheel restoration business. If this is correct, who is now the preferred restorer of Corvette original KO and bolt on wheels?

I can't confirm he is the "preferred"...

He's an NCRS member who lives in New Mexico and does excellent work on these wheels at a very fair price...He has a member profile here on the NCRS website and you can drop him an email about your wheels. Bill is a super honest guy and your wheels will be in good hands. If nothing else it will allow you to get a competitive bid for the restoration vs. the others you've already mentioned...
Bill did my '65 knock-offs and they went through Top Flight judging and BG certification with no issues/deductions...

Dennis Portka got out of the KO restoration business +5 years ago, Dennis. One conversation I had with him indicated he wasn't making money since each job seemed to involve unique considerations that he couldn't accommodate via a fixed-price system and there was a limit to what folks would pay....Comment
