What is the correct finish for the '63 lower rocker panel screws. Cad or blackened? The JM says cad but others say black. I understand that the '63 screws were sems with a circle around sems and the later ones did not have the circle. Also read that they could be just plain with no logo. Anyhow my sems screws (about 14) just have the sems and that's close enough for me. Just need to know the finish the judges are looking for. In the archives a post dated Nov 2002 has this identical question but I was unable to bring up the replies. Thanks again, John

Can't say for sure, but it would make sense that styling would call out a silver cad or chrome head screw along the bottom to coordinate with the bright finish on the rocker panels.
Also, I would think the screws on the sides fore and aft would be black to match the blackout in the panels.
