I am restoring a 66 side exhaust car and just realized I can not find my origional J clips to retain the covers. In looking through paragon's parts book page 61, they sell for $1200 a set??? Is this correct, if so I better look hard for my origionals?? Is something else avaliable, and how big of a points loss will I have?

Interesting question. I just now went to Paragon's web catalog, and see how Bill misread the price for the nuts. Paragon sells them for $3.00/set, and LIC for $9.00/set. LIC oughtta be sellin' the real McCoys for such a difference in price!
If your question is a serious one, though.......AFAIK, LIC is selling reproduction j clips.

I did misread the page. If you look in paragons 2005 63-67 book, page 61 middle of the page in the shaded area. At first glance it looks like the clips are $1200, but it is the whole set for $1200. I still have the question, will the repos be caught in judging?Comment
