i've used exon dexon 10/30 wt oil designed for diesel engines in our 54 vette since i rebuilt the 235 in the early 80's. the old girl has about 35K miles on her since then and it doesn't use a drop of oil between 3K mile oil changes(can't say the same for the cast iron powerglide). mike
