    Shift Knob 61

    Does the shift lever with the white ball knob leave a few threads(maybe 3 threads) still showing when the ball is fully screwed on, or am I going to have to work on the repo knob to get it to screw on further so no threads show? Thank you in advance.

      The shift knob (repro) on my '61 allows a few threads showing. Not sure how the originals fit.
