    Re: c1 shifter knob

    Paul,

Exerpted from the 57 NCRS Technical Informatio Manual & Judging Guide:

"Shift lever spherical knobs appear genarally as follows for all available transmissions: Early 56 to unknown point (approximately 2/22/56) used a white plastic knob. Later 56 production to early 57 production (approximately serial number 200) used a 1-1/2" diameter chrome steel knob : remaining 57 production appears to have reverted to white plastic. It should be noted that chrome knobs have been found on some later model 57's."

So, it depends on when your car was built.

I suspect it should have the white (ivory) knob.

if your 57 's vin is high enough to have had a t-10 installed originally, it would have had a white shifter ball/knob. mike
