Folks,

It has been / is being reported that Carlisle Productions has sold some of their holdings / is looking at selling the Fairgrounds and moving to an undisclosed facility betwixt Cumberland and York county area. Anyone have the straight poop on this!?

Rick, Read the Corvette Forum for the latest update. I don't think you will find any other more accurate info at the moment. Also read my response to the update.
It's hard to believe that such a successful operation will move but if Uncle Same wants the property for major bucks it's a good business move. This is not the first time we have heard rumors about the show moving. When Chip Miller was alive I remember reading a piece in the local Carlisle newspaper about a proposed or possible move to another location. Hopefully the new venture will be a success. Relocating major events is not always the key to success as has been proven with other shows.
On a happier note I enjoyed looking at your 63 Z06 at the Cumberland meet. John

had rad the thread on "Vetteheads", about "Carlisle Leaving Carlisle", and was hoping to see what folks had to say here. thanks for the comments on "LADY". will be doing some "freshening up" over the winter, and hopefully TOP FLIGHT in 2007 at Boston National.

BTW - sorry, I missed the Pittsburgh meet, but was flying back from the Regional at St. Louis - understand you had some nice cars, and judges showed up to support your Chapter
