    power steering problem

I installed power steering on my 67. When I started the engine the steering took off in one direction when it hit the limit it took off in the other direction. It will sit there and cycle back and forth. Any suggestions. Terry

Your control valve needs to be balanced.

Do you have the 67 GM Service Manual? The power steering control valve balancing procedure is in it. In fact, I would guess that this procedure is in all of the 63-82 manuals. Takes about 15 minutes to do.

Nope, The lines are crossed, or not crossed in this case.

Lines crossed or not, unhook the ram. Switch hoses or adjust the valve, then rehook the ram up.
