    BB Oil Pan

Anyone had an experience of putting the new GM high capacity BB truck oil pan on a Gen 6 motor then putting it into a c-2 w/o power steering. Will the big oil pan fit??

I have been looking at the Gen 6

I have been looking at the Gen 6 into C3 swap, the C2 is essentially the same setup. The Gen 6 pan is at least a full inch deeper than the original Corvette pan, so it will hang significantly lower than the crossmember. It looks like it would clear the power steering.

You could go with the 5 quart Camaro/Chevelle GMPD pan but it doesn't have the same internal baffles as the Corvete pan (but neither does the truck pan). The best answer is to use the Corvette pan as a core and cut out the rear sealing lip and tig weld the lip from the truck pan onto it.

Unless you use the special 454 block with fuel pump mounting, you will need an electric pump. The clutch linkage will need a fabricated bracket to mount the block pivot ball (Scoggin Dickey has one, but it looks like while OK for drag use, long term street use will likely make it crack sooner or later).
