Should the engine fan, pulleys and harmonic balancer be painted black or engine color on the '54 235 engine?

I think the engine fan bolts should be black, however. At least that's the way they look in Noland's restoration book.

Thanks Chuck. As I suspected, since I found some traces of engine blue under the black that was on it.

Thanks Russ. Yeah, I saw that in the book too. Unfortunately, all the pictures are black and white so I couldn't tell the color of the fan, but it was not black but some lighter color which I assume is engine color.
