1119002e Voltage Regulator (1962 fuelie)

Hello all,

In my quest to find some parts for the 63, I've been neglecting the search for parts for the 62... so............

I'm looking for an original voltage regulator for a 1962 fuel injected Corvette. The number should be 1119002e. I have found one, but the date is too late. I need April 62 or earlier...

Any help would be appreciated in finding one.

you're in search of the toughest to find c-1 voltage regulator. good luck, mike

Agreed... it's been tough.

I've found actually three so far... two of them had too late of a date, and the third had a stamping that was questionable enough to pass on it.

John Pirkle hasn't had one in years. He also says there have been restamp attempts. Sounds like you may have seen one. You could grab one of the two good ones with an incorrect date. You'd be halfway there, correct part, wrong date, thus a very slight mark down in judging points. You'd also be in a good position to trade someone else with a correct date. Bottom line, even if you don't have a "correct" voltage regulator you can still top flight if the important stuff is right. Is $400 or more worth it for a couple of points out 4000+? Only you can decide.
