C-3, Headlight actuator

1970. Were the headlight actuators on early C-3s dated with ink stamps? I have one removed from my '70 that appears to read FEB 2670 or 2678 and then what appears to be a 70 after that so that it reads FEB 2670 (or 2678) 70. My car was built in mid March.

Scott it is very common to see the ink stamps on the C-3 cars (at least 68-72)

I figured as much but I don't understand the "decoding". I think I see a FEB 26 but what does the rest mean, if anything, in terms of date codes or ???

Feb 26 70 pretty much means February 26th of 1970.....

FEB 2678 70 or FEB 2670 70. There's an extra set of numbers and I was curious if this had any significance. Or did the stamper get goosed and double stamp it?
