This is my first Vette. It was a flood car and the person before me put on 62 panels. I purchased 61 new panels, complete, from Corvette America. I put them up to the door and they don't even come close the contour of the door. My panels are completely flat and when I try to get the top flush the bottom and front are a good distance away from the door. Is this normal, and should they fit tight against the door. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Joe, You don't say if you have attached the panels with fastners. The door panel, of course attaches with sheet metal screws top, bottom and a few places in between. Also. the arm rest is going to do a major job of holding the door panel close to the door. My 61 has a bit of a gap at the top where thew panel is attached to the reveal molding. (Very small gap). If it would help, I can email you some pictures for comparison.
