    1973 AIR Pump to Solenoid

I am in the process of reinstalling my AIR pump for a Judging meet on Saturday. Unfortunatly I can't remember the proper routing of the AIR pump to the Solenoid. I have the AIM and Service manual and neither one shows a detail picture of the routing. The Solenoid has 3 places for vacuum hoses, the AIR pump has 1. If I had a picture of the Solenoid and the carburator I could figure it out. If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

You do not use the metal tube at the rear on a 73 with a 4 speed. The side port to the dist. The front port to a tee one end to the diverter valve the other to the carb at the RH front. Try Dr Rebuilds web site for pictures of other 73's routing.

I should make it more clear. I am looking for Vacuum hose routing. It is an automatic L48, which is different than an LS4.

      Sorry for the confusion.

        Same answer.

See Dr. Rebuild's pictures on his site for diagrams of the vacuum hose routing.

I found it, it was exactly what I was looking for. My routing was so far off no wonder I could't figure it out.

          Thanks, to both of you.
