56 clutch lever anti-rattle springs

Looking for GM part number and/or source for replacement springs. These are the 3 springs in the clutch assembly that attach to the cover over each release lever. Are they really needed? Will springs from later models fit? The rest of the clutch is in great shape. Thanks much for any help.

The part number is GM #403051. However, this piece was discontinued without supercession in July, 1985.

The same spring was used for all 56-62 Corvettes. It was also used in many passenger car and light truck applications with coil spring type clutches.

Thanks for your response Joe. After taking apart the pressure plate assembly I decided to replace the whole works. I ordered a clutch kit from Paragon (my first order from them) after having no luck at my local Napa store.
