    70 trans TCS cable

I present my 70 vette has non original T 10 trans. As I cannot connect the TCS trans cable for now, which is the better position for it? open or ground? Thanks in advance, Roberto NCRS #30019

    Hi Roberto,

There is no good answer to your question. If you ground the wire to the transmission you will get vacuum advance to the distributor all the time. This will make it difficult, if not impossable, to get a good idel. If you don't ground it you will never get full advance for the highway.

A switch that you operate manually would be the best solution. I will have to look up the wireing diagram, but I think you want a ground in 3 & 4 gear.
