same thing. get the model with the lazer. Last two I boutht were 104.00 canadian but purchased in the atates. Very reliable and work well. You end up measuring lots of things once you get one not just automotive.

I stood back behind my home at night and put it on the back board when kids were playing basket ball from 100 feet away, freaked them out till I hit a tree branch and they could see it came from my home.

Normally I buy only good tools and such but I received an ad from Harbor Freight with an IR gun with laser pointing device for arou $40. On a whim, I bought it a year ago and it works quite nicely. The other guns as listed do have very good reputations and seem to be the industry standard.

Dipstick, Raytek makes a good gun. Most of the mobile tool vendors will have guns. Be sure and have the "Dragon Lady" read the instructions to you. That way you will know which end to point.
