Can anyone point me to a known 1957 Corvette that has the dash tach hole filled in with fiberglass from the factory..as the AC 8000 Tach would have been mounted on the column.
I believe the AIM instructs the factory to fill in the dash hole with a piece of fiberglas and finish out..however..most known 579E cars or 684 cars that have the AC 8000 column mounted tach..have an emblem covering the dash tach hole.
If you know of car that had or has the dash hole filled in from the factory please advise the owner or the VIN #.
Also..can anyone point me to a known car that has the 8000 AC tach mounted on the column with a fairing instead of a two piece metal bracket?
E-mail me if you prefer.
Kindest Regards,
