Hello, I recently developed a squeaking noise in my 1967 427/435 that I
found to be a dry rocker arm on #2 intake. I removed the pushrod and
checked for any restrictions but did not find any. I cleaned all parts,
lubed and assembled. All other rockers have good lubrication. I remember big blocks developing air pockets in the lifter oil galleys but short of dismantling the engine I cannot think of a remedy. The engine was rebuilt
two years ago and does not have many miles since. I cannot remember if the
front galley plugs were drilled to eliminate this problem. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
