    2818 fuel inlet

Early 1965 L-79, 2818 Holley, fuel inlet on primary bowl threads stripped. Does anyone gave any suggestions for repair. Any info or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

    Dominic-----

The only effective repair I can concieve of is to install a HeliCoil. However, I'm not sure if a HeliCoil kit is available for this, particular, application. I'd contact an experienced Holley rebuilder. They will know if a kit is available and, if it is, you will need to have someone experienced and equipped do it, anyway.

Thanks Joe, I appreciate your response. Would you happen to have any rebuilder recommendations. This is an original part and I would not be happy with a replacement. Please e- mail me if you do not feel comfortable posting here. Thanks Again
