    '66 master cylinder cap and attaching clips

    I understand that either black painted or "gold" plated caps are considered correct for judging purposes. Would those with the plated caps also have the attaching clips plated as well, and likewise those with painted caps have painted clips?

      Rob,

      The original black cap on my '66 has black clips. I also have a gold plated one (repro)and the clips on this one has more of a silver colored plating.
