I heard Back East Car Covers has closed, owner retired? Did anyone buy/take over the business?

Back East is located in our back yard (Pittsburgh). Rumor is the he could not compete with the low quality cover suppliers and folded shop. Don't expect him to sell out or be back in business.

Just tried their WEB site and it's gone, oh well. I understood they were one of the best if not the best cover producers. Who's next in line for a quality cover? Any suggestions. I need a replacement.

Try California Car Covers. Owner is Junior DeFrank who orginally lived near Pittsburgh, PA. I believe that Joe from Back East used to work for Junior years ago in CA and then moved back east and started his own business, hence the name, "Back East". Calif Car Cover sets up every year at Corvettes at Carlisle and they have a quality car cover. I have used both companies covers for years. Sorry to here that Joe is out of business as he severed our hobby well over the years.
