C2 Baby Coming Home

We loaded my 67 on a car hauler May 6th here in the UK (Harrogate) for delivery to Southampton. The car is scheduled to arrive in Jacksonville, FL May 24th. I gave my 18 year old daughter Power - of - Attorney in regards to the car once it reaches port. I hope I see it again! The truck driver wasn't going to "boom" the front end down as he tried to convince me that the weight of the car would hold it down. After a little discussion he agreed to go ahead and boom it down yet he said mine was the 1st one in 30 years he had ever done it to.

Heck, I would have run up and got it. Trailered it home even. Of well, I guess you like that 18-year-old daughter more than me. She'll take good care of it, I'm sure. Just be sure she doesn't have a boyfriend around.

That's the problem, she does. I have it set to be trailered from the port to my house outside of Sarasota, my daughter and her bf are going to inspect it for me prior to release to the truckiing company.

Yep, That's Cassie. She was a little upset about the Corvette leaving the garage.
