C2 - Side Pipes 327 vs 427

All,

What are the differences in side pipes for a 2 1/2" system for a 327 ci vs a 427 ci? Is it simply in the length & tie-in to the exhaust headers? Are the bodies of the pipes the same? Are the side pipe covers & hanging hardware the same?

Covers and hangers are the same because the side body of the car didn't 'know' whether it was a BB or a SB. The front of the pipes have different geometry (SB vs. BB) since the physical position of the exhaust manifolds were different and the pipes had to connect properly given the constraint of the same physical side mounting....
