Where can I find a carb for my '69 L-46

Howdy All!

I left my car for only a few hours (in what I thought was a "secure space") and somebody stole the q-jet carb right off my 69 Roadster! It's a beautiful car and I drive (ie: "drove") it daily. The motor is not original so I am not too picky as to what carb I put on it. It would be nice to have a
q-jet carb similar to the original, but I have been having a hard time finding one that is in desirable condition. I just want to get a good carb asap, even if it isn't a q-jet. Any suggestions or sources for getting me a decent replacement carb that's ready to bolt on?

Or Jegs,Summit,Jet and Edelbrock. They make new Q-jets in several stages of tune. Dot com the above for more info.

edelbrock no longer sells the Qjet carb

they could not sell enought to meet the minimum amount they were to buy from the manufacture so they ended the contract. there are still some out there at the dealers.

I replaced my carburetor on my 69 L-46 with a proper date coded one. The one on the car has a service replacement date. It was working fine when I took it off. I sent you an email about it.

Since you are not to picky as you mentioned, you could go for a brand new 650 Holley spreadbore. Should be still abvailable in either vacuum operated secondaries or the double pumper style. Have used a Holley 6210 650 double pumper on my 68 327/350 driver since about 1973. Nothing like controlling when and how much the secondaries kick in. Paid $60.00 dollars for a brand new one.
