63 Radiator Support Bolts, Painted?

    63 Radiator Support Bolts, Painted?

    The bolts that are on the Radiator Support on the front are they painted black or are they natural color? I am talking about the Bolts that brace the raditor on the front of the radatior Support>>>????

    If I understand your question correctly, you are refering to the bolts that retain the upper center bracket? If that's the case, these bolts would have been zinc/cad plated but not painted black. The bracket and it's fasteners were installed after engine compartment blackout. The core support would have been painted semi gloss black at the supplier and then received some additional primer/body color/blackout during the body paint process. The only bolts that would have been involved in the blackout would be the ones that come in from the sides of the support. All other fasteners would have been added after any paint process so they would appear in their correct plating.
