Which 1961 horsepower configurations were originally fitted with the front exhaust crossover pipe? Which had the oval vs. round muffler? Different sources seem to list different configurations. Thank you.

Mike,
I believe all the solid lifter engines had the cross over pipe and round mufflers, this includes one of the fuel injected (315hp) and one 2 four barrel (270hp) engines.
Further, I believe round (off road) vs oval (standard) mufflers were available regardless of engine horsepower.
