I'm thinking about useing these guys to restore my clock face from my 69. I have the clock apart and will only be sending the face.

Can anyone comment on if these are good people to deal with or should I stay away?

They also have a repro clock face and I was also wondering if anyone has seen it in person and can comment on it as well.

Can anyone else recommend a place that I could send the clock face to for resilkscreening?

Greg,

I have purchased brand new clocks from them and had zero problems. For me, it wasn't worth the hassle of taking apart the clock. I'd tried to fix it on my own, but for the money it was easier just to install a new one.

Thanks Patrick that the kind of info that I'm looking for. Actually my clock works just fine and kept reasonable time so I just plan on giving it a gentle clean and light lube before it goes back in.

The only issue that I had was that the face was lightly rusted and that is why I removed it. Originaly I had planned to reface it myself but I'm finding it way to hard to get the proper sheen and shade of black as well as the proper light green for the markings. I know when I'm beat... Time to throw in the towel and let someone that knows what their doing handle it for me!

Years ago -- Say in the late '80s -- I and Ron Dombowski visited them and did a story on their services for The Restorer. Ron had dealings with them -- all positive. We reported that in the story. That was a long time ago, though.
