Which side of the emergency brake slider(Driver or Passenger)should be cut to fit the slider around the emergency brake handle? The information I have is: 1) I have bought two sliders, one GM NOS and one from LCI. Both were cut on the Driver side. 2)At the Queen City Regional, mine was cut on the Driver's side and there was a deduction; the interior judges said the cut should on the Passenger side. Since, I am preparing the car for several judging events, please advise which is the way the factory did it.

Re: '67 Interior Judging Question
Hi Jim,
The slider should be cut on the passengers side of the emergency brake handle. I don't know of any suppliers that have the cut on the correct side,
although there may be some out there. The GM slider you have may be for a '68 and up that would need trimmed and the side cut is not correct for a '67. Hope this helps out.

Re: '67 Interior Judging Question
Hi Jim:
I believe that the correct part number for the 1967 slider is 3901995. I bought a NOS 3901995 and it has the cut on the passenger side. At some point the GM service replacement was changed so that it could be used for C3s as well, and that part (which is too long and needs to be shortened for a 67) has the cut on the driver's side.- Top
