C2: How to replace radiator shroud without damage?

I took the radiator and shroud out of the car. But it was very tricky and I had to bend and squeeze to get the shroud out. I will paint the shroud before I put it back but, as I see it, it will be hard to get it back without rubbing off lots of paint. How much do I need to remove to get it back in good shape? My car is 1966 Coupe, 327/300, A/C, PS and Powerglide.

        Keith,

Is unpainted glass the currently accepted finish? My 4th edition JM calls for semi-gloss black.

Rob. I don't know my dad and I had his 67 SB entered in a Mason Dixon meet, and he lost points on having his having a painted finsh on it
