    Joe-----

There never was any caliper casting number of "64322276". However, I suspect that the number is actually 5452273. This casting was used for the front, outer caliper half from mid-1967 through about 1972 or, possibly, early 1973. The same casting was used for BOTH standard brakes and J-56. For J-56 front caliper halves the pin boss was machined off and the end holes were added for the cotter pins. ANY standard brake caliper half can be easily modified to be a J-56 half by doing exactly what Delco-Moraine did years ago. A caliper so-modified may be absolutely indistinguishable from an original J-56.
