C2 Kick Pad Vent Cable Brkt. -- Repairable ?

'65 LH cable-to-dash bracket; appears made of pot-metal. Any recommendations for a DRIVER-class repair ? Fusion weld (TIG /MIG) / JB weld / junk it ?

Well I would try drilling a small hole in each piece , then using JB weld and a piece of rod that would go in to each piece put them together.??

You could also drill a small hole in each piece, tap them with a small #72 tap, get a #72 bolt and cut the head off, double nut them to install with some loc-tite, then screw the other piece on. Might be a little more work then using a rod, but give the adheseve something to adhere too.
