valve adjustment

I want to adjust the valves on my 67 L71. Can any one tell me how to identify the exhaust valve from the intake.

Hi Walt

When you remove the rocker covers and look at the valves, rockers, springs, etc. the exhaust valves will be in line with the exhaust ports that exit out to the exhaust manifold and the intake valves will be the ones that fall in line with the intake ports and the intake manifold runners.

Is that the black and white beauty?
