    C1 Distributor

    A question of functionality.
Building a nice driver (60) and am replacing the distributor. The local NAPA parts book lists a distributor for a regular chevrolet that says "all except Corvette". Is there a functional difference between the regular chevy and corvette distributors? Or can I use a regular non-vette distributor?
    Thanks in advance

They may mean single or two points, but you should be able to use any CAR dist.

All 1962 through 1974 Corvette distributors had tachometer drives. Some 1957-1961s did too. That's the usual distinction between Corvette and regular Chevrolet distributors until HEI came in 1975.

If your 1960 drives the tach from the generator, you can use the regular Chevy distributor.
