Anyone know of a source for a new power antenna cable?

Rob - I had no luck in my search for a new cable. Finally had OEM Glass in I think Minn. rebuild entire unit. Cost was around $550 and they did a great job. They do not sell parts and pretty much regardless of condition the cost is the same.

Eric,
Considering I'm not interested in cosmetic restoration of my antenna, $550 is a lot of $. I'll try to find out what other models have an antenna I can use for a "donor" cable. Southern CA should be a good place to find one not rusted out, if that's possible.

I can provide you with a cable. We'll have to discuss what type of fitting your solid mast section uses. Some are swaged and others use a #3-38 thread. E-mail me at gthompson49@kc.rr.com if you're interested.
