1966 427 leaf spring

Hi
I have a 7 leaf repro leaf spring in my 1966 427 390 with standard suspension it makes the car sit high in the back.
Where can I buy the most correct repro spring? And I read in the guide that my car should be a 9 leaf not a 7.Can someone help.

1) Read the archives on this topic.

2) For a used original try America's Finest Corvettes, Cranes Corvettes, or Pacific Corvettes. Do a google search for contact info.

3) For a repro, albeit with incorrect end treatment on leaves 2-9, contact Eaton Detroit Spring. Google for contact details.
