Sierra Specialty Automotive in Quincy, CA

Has anyone ever used these guys for master cylinder sleeving and if so, was is a good or bad experience?

They seem okay from their web page but they don't mention a turn time so I'll have to ask about that. I also like that they use USPS and not UPS for Canadian shipments.

    Thanks guys.

White Post is the Best. Fastest turn around in the hobby.

      Thanks Brian,

I've heard that White Post Restorations is quite good as well as Apple Hydraulics but White post doesn't offer a sleeving only service...only a full rebuild.

Apple Hydraulics seems to be a good choice because they do offer a sleeving only service along with a shipping carrier of your choice so I'm not forced to use UPS.

Sierra Specialty seems good from their web page in that they are slightly cheaper than Apple and have a 10yr warranty that stays with the car, not the owner. Not that it matters much but they are also a lot closer to me than Apple is. So, they seem like a better choice except that I have never heard of them so I'm just wondering if anyone here as used them or heard if they were good or bad to deal with.

I'll second the vote for White Post. Their work was outstanding and on Brian's recommendation I asked them to paint it to NCRS specs. Turnaround was about a week. Don't remember exactly what it cost but it was worth it.

I have used Sierra Specialty Automotive for brake cylinder sleeves and they did a great job, with a very fast turnaround at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?. Eric
