    Turn Signals Acting Weird

    Hi guys,

When I turn my turn signal left, both lights flash on instrument panel, both front blinkers flash together, but on rear only the left flashes.

If I turn the right signal on, again, both IP lights and both fronts flash, but on rear only the right flashes.

Has only started to do this since I replaced the steering column with a rebuilt Tilt/Tele column. Also have replaced both flashers.

    Whaddaya think?

    Thanks!

    Ernie

4-way flasher SB in the fuse block and TS flasher SB held by a clip on the back side of the passenger's lower dash panel...

            Hmmm.

I have a similar problem in a 72. Brake lights are fine (at the rear), but when hitting the brakes the right turn signal indicator lights on the dash. Turn signal lights don't work front, back or dash. Mine also started after the T&T column was rebuilt and installed.

I wonder if the problems are similar in cause...

I had a similar problem with my rear turn signal not working properly, but the front did. It turned out to be the roung wire on the real housing. Tighten them all up and added a ground for the fun of it. Problem solved.
