    C1 WCFB Disassembly

I'm trying to disassemble a WCFB and can't get the air horn apart from the main body. It seems to be hanging up on the T-shaped bracket that holds the metering rods (vacumeter piston link.) The two bodies come about a half inch apart and then hang up on something. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Richard..I am no expert carb rebuilder but I rebuilt the WCFB's on my 57 several times over the course of 20 years..and I removed the little spring that held the metering rods...before trying to remove the airhorn from the main body.

Then you still have to maneuver a bit to get the airhorn off

All in all it was not that difficult

T-shaped bracket has a piston brass weight , it's probably stuck in the bore of the center section ,Try WD 40 and next morning try again.
