Can anyone please tell me where I might find the information (specs)for replacing the rocker panel supports on a 65 coupe. I have had to replace the rocker channels and can not find in any of the books that I have where the positioning has been shown. The replacement covers that I have have 12 holes for 6 supports so they are not much help for finding the correct placement. Would be greatful for any help in locating this information...........Thanks

i believe the assembly manual has all specs for the sills and supports , the supports you mention are the "A" post and "B" posts ? you will find this info in the beginning of the text. -

I have a 65 convertable,which I think would be the same. I have the covers off, if the AIM doesn't have it let me know and I will take some measurements from mine.

Hello Kelly, I checked the assembly manual that I have and I do not see any specs for the support location. Could be that I am missing a page as my manual jumps from E13 to E15. If that is the case could you please forward me that page?

The bracket location dimensions were never shown in the A.I.M. - only on the tooling layout; you'll need measurements from a car.Comment

You might be able to temporary bolt the rocker moulding to the body with the front and rear screws that bolt thru lower fender tips. Then transfer the bracket centers to the frame using the spacing of the lower rocker panel as a guide with a small square. After all, the brackets have to line up with holes in the rocker panels.
